Recruiting Director Seeks New Opportunity in Dallas, TX

Nona Renfro, an experienced recruiting leader with 12+ years of business experience and proven leadership skills is searching for a new opportunity in the DFW area.

Most recently, Nona served as the Associate Director for the Central Region Staffing at AT&T. In that role, Renfro lead staffing operations and workforce planning for the Central Region, consisting of 571 retail stores in 17 states, and managed a geographically dispersed staffing team of 4 leaders and 48 recruiters.

During her tenure, the Central Region was ranked #1 in hiring for 2007 with over 6000 hires.

Prior to AT&T, Renfro served as a Regional Manager at Employers Resource Group in McKinney, TX, where she managed 10 branch locations and had responsibility for P&L, marketing, and new business development.

Additionally, Renfro served as Senior Product Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter at VerizonBusiness, where she established a successful track record during her ten year tenure.

Renfro is a graduate of the University of Nebraska (but I'm not going to hold that against her as my wife is a native Nebraskan and I've actually grown to love the place).

Check out Renfro's LinkedIn Profile HERE, and if you have an interest in speaking with her, please feel free to reach her via email:

renfroclan@yahoo.com

Tell her you found her at WirelessJobs.com and she just might buy me a cup of Starbucks next time she's in Plano!

Senior Recruiter, ANS - Plano, TX

In 1997, Sue Baker gave me my first shot at a corporate recruiting gig (AT&T Wireless). It was the best thing that ever happened to my career. 10 years later, I've continued progressing in my career, and I've been lucky enough to stay focused on the wireless industry (loves me some wireless).

The best part, really, was that I had the privilege of working with the most energetic, fun, and lovable manager in the world - Sue.

A few years ago, Sue and I parted ways (courtesy of the Cingular buyout), and Sue continued her recruiting magic at Advanced Neuromodulation Systems, Inc., otherwise known as, ANS Medical.

Sue and I caught up earlier last week and I learned that she's currently searching for a Recruiter to join her team at ANS in Plano, TX. So, basically, I'm using this post to tell everybody goodbye as I'll be leaving my current role at T-Mobile and joining Sue's team this coming Monday.

Just kidding - did I actually fool anyone?

Hey, it's tempting! Sue's a terrific leader and ANS (if I failed to mention) was awarded the No. 1 spot on FORTUNE magazine’s 2007 list of Most Admired Companies in the medical products and equipment category.

If I wasn't so nuts about wirelesss...... : )

So here's the deal Recruiters - you could only be so lucky to land on Sue's team and in a company like ANS. If you are currently in job-search mode, feel free to forward your resume to Sue @ Sue.Baker@ans-medical.com. Tell her we're best friends and she'll try not to hold it against you.

If I happen to know you well and you want me to put in a good word with Sue, a cup of Starbucks will get you far. Try me.

Dennis

Recruiting Manager / Recruiter Seeking New Job Opportunities

No, it's not me! A good friend of mine and former Recruiting Manager on my team is searching for new opportunities.

I don't recommend recruiters lightly, but this one gets my full endorsement! She has several years of experience within the wireless industry, and is a strong manager. While the majority of her recent experience is in the wireless field, she's open to new industries.

Although currently in Texas, she's open to relocation for the appropriate opportunity.

So, who is this mystery job shopper? Well, if you'd like an introduction, email me (wirelessheadhunter@gmail.com). If nothing else, you need to be connected with her - she's a LinkedIn guru, having learned from the best (Doza, wazzup?!).

Sr. Technical Recruiter Available (Dallas, TX)

During my tenure at Samsung, I had the priviledge of working with one of the most experienced technical recruiters that I've ever met. He stayed with us for about a year at Samsung before joining Texas Instruments to take on a major recruiting project they had in the works.

I just talked with my buddy this morning, and it looks like he's finally wrapping up his project at TI and is searching out his next contract opportunity.

If you have a need for an excellent technical recruiter with first-class customer skills, send me an email. This is a freebie - I'm just looking to pay it forward to a recruiter that I strongly respect.

So here's a shout-out to all the recruiters in the Dallas metro-area! Shoot me an email and I'll put you in touch with one of my recruiting mentors. The rest will be up to you.
