I'm diggin' the new Q&A tool in LinkedIn and wondered if anybody else had been exploring that section?
If you haven't used it yet, check it out. LinkedIn Answers is designed to allow professionals (even people like me) to exchange expertise.
Although I have posted a few questions, I've enjoyed reading the questions asked in the "Wireless" and "Blogging" sections (my two favorite topics for obvious reasons).
Last week I posted this question:
I had some very smart bloggers weigh in on the topic and received terrific answers. In fact, I discovered a few blogs that I'd never visited (which surprised me :)
One of the features I like about the Q&A's is that, when you "close" your question, you get to pick what you considered to be the "best" answer.
The answer that tickled my fancy (by the way, what's the origin of that stupid phrase?), came from David Lambert, (Solutions Architect, Development Manager). Oh yeah, here's the handsome devil himself:
Anyway, I liked David's answer. But I really liked the fact that he took the time to provide a thoughtful answer, instead of just pasting one sentence that included a link to his favorite blog.
By the way, if you get the chance, check out his blog: AppDev
It will take you about 7 seconds to realize this guy is sharp and has a blog to match.
And here's the RSS Feeds he mentioned in his answer (David, feel free to correct me if I get this wrong:
AppDev Stories - RSS
Shared Items - Google Reader
Social Networking News
If you decide to post a question on LinkedIn's Q&A section, send me an email so I can weigh in on the fun.
Happy Q&A,
Dennis
