Job Description
Looking for a marketing communications lead to create and execute compelling and effective strategic communications to internal and external audiences. Candidate should have experience developing and executing product and corporate messaging campaigns. He/she should be a skilled creative writer and corporate content manager and interviewer – with a proven ability to take facts and a company’s brand identity to develop communication materials that can include creative briefs, web content, internal content, campaign/promotional content, fact sheets/brochures, sales educational materials and general copy.

Responsibilities:
Develop portfolio and cross portfolio communication strategies for the organization
Work closely with the product marketing team to develop processes in order to create the most effective copy for our product portfolio
Develop message hierarchies and maps based on brand characteristics and implement the brand through creative writing across all communications vehicles
Institute a creative brief process, investigative journalism tactics and other best practices to create the most effective message with the most efficient development process

Fully understand the company brand and be able to translate that brand into creative materials

Audit existing communications materials

Train staff on the brand and guide junior members of the team on how to write creatively

Manage workload of editorial team

Create materials by priority for the overall product suite

Work with creative agencies and oversee quality of work and distribution of materials
Sell ideas to internal customers, and being able to develop campaigns from concept through to measurement

Create a collaborative and creative environment.

Requirements
BA/BS, MA preferred
Proven people manager
Proven Communicator at all levels of an organization
Expert writer, communicator and interviewer with an amazing creative streak.
Expertise in all types of writing for business
Agency background a must
Extensive experience writing “in brand”
Editorial experience ranging from developing strategic communications campaigns to writing the collateral pieces in them.
