According to an article just posted on CNN Money.com, if you ask for more money, you'll be in good company. The annual study on employment and compensation trends by Robert Half International (RHI) and CareerBuilder.com titled The Employment Dynamics and Growth Expectations (EDGE) Report.
Here's what the found in the report:
Job candidates are more apt to ask for higher starting salaries this year, and companies may have to up the ante to attract them.Why? Because it's a pretty hot market folks. In fact, 91 percent of the managers surveyed said recruiting is equally or more challenging today than it was 12 months ago.
I agree. So, be encouraged, job-seekers. Find the right job, and it seems the time is right for the money to follow.
