Job cuts at Countrywide Financial Corp. (the nations largest lender) have nothing to do with the wireless industry.
However, I've got a couple of friends that work there, a couple who recently left (nice move, T), and a couple whose businesses are tied to the health of this industry.
Wow. Borrowing $11.5b just so they can keep making loans.
I think some of the folks at Countrywide should think about a change of careers.
Wireless is still pretty hot.
