T-Mo's kidConnect

Ok, my T-Mo plugs are most likely killing the faithful few who actually put me in their bloglines account, but I personally like this idea so I'm putting it out there.

T-Mobile just introduced kidConnect which empowers parents and kids to stay connect on their own terms.

My oldest daughter is having a birthday this summer and what do you think she wants for her birthday...yep, a mobile phone. I like the idea of kidConnect because it ensures that her wireless bill won't exceed $19.99/month.

Here's what kidConnect has to offer:

Unlimited calling between parent and child
Unlimited nationwide weekend calling
50 nationwide Whenever Minutes per month
Ability to dial 9-1-1 in an emergency

I know she'll scream through that 50 min's pretty quickly, but what's worse? 50 min's or the $600 phone bill that was recently presented to the mother of two teenagers (story about Amy's neighbors).
