How and Why I Blog

The Blog Herald is currently running a series called "How I Blog." I submitted a post for the series and it's on their site today - you can read it here.

While I touch briefly on the "how," much of my post is dedicated to answering the question about "why" I blog. Why bother?

Knowing that we are all in the competition (war) to recruit the best talent available in the market-place, I could choose the strategy embraced by Napoleon Bonaparte, who said,
"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
But I've decided to forego my humble Okie roots (just for today) and feign genius by impersonating the Roman philospher Seneca who said,
"There is no delight in owning anything unshared."
