Hey Corporations, We're Talking to Each Other Before We Buy Your Product

Another reason why I blog (see link below to blog called, "Hey Corporations, We're Talking to Each Other Before We Buy Your Product"). It's pretty clear that the public wants the opportunity to voice their opinion. What better way than blogging.

Here's a challenge to all those considering a new cell-phone purchase. Blog me - I'll give you a few reasons why you should go with Samsung. I know, it's a no-brainer since I'm getting a weekly paycheck from this $4B cell-phone manufacturer.

But while we're at it, I'll tell you a thing or two about what it's like to work here. Who knows, you might want a cell-phone and a new career.

Hey Corporations, We're Talking to Each Other Before We Buy Your Product
A great example from Stephen O'Grady on how he checked blogs for opinions on products/services he was thinking about purchasing. His decision to purchase/not-purchase was based upon input from other bloggers.

Example 1: Apple PowerBook - Young Pup's PowerBook woes
Example 2: Vonage - Poor reviews from Christopher and Ev

More and more people are doing this. Corporations might not want to take notice since they might think we are a minority, but people like Stephen and I are the alpha-geeks to our family and friends. When a friend wants computer/cellphone/camera/etc guess who they ask?
