A strong predictor of success for a Value Stream Analyst is their ability to positively impact the lean manufacturing processes.  Specifically, by participating in activities for continuous improvement, capacity planning and execution, lead time reduction, and on-time delivery improvement.  When he/she is effectively influencing the processes, the bottom-line is always the same:

3. Increased productivity
4. Improved safety performance

If you have the background to positively impact our lean manufacturing environment, then you'll have no problem with these critical performance objectives:

• Conduct comprehensive review of manufacturing improvement processes
• capture and analyze data and recommend improvement based on the business goals aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles and in compliance with the FDA
• Develop primary initiatives to support Company cost reduction and PI goals
• Provide data to value stream production teams to meet/exceed improvement goals
• Support daily value stream resources and activities
• Continuous Improvement 
• Gap Analysis
• Change Management 
• Material and Labor Flow
• Partner with customers to influence the improvement processes
• Engineering - Procurement - Customer Support - Product Support - Sales/Marketing

A Value Stream Analyst candidate needs to have at least 3-5 years of related work experience (medical device industry experience is preferred).  This should include the appropriate Industry Certifications such as APICS, Lean Green or Black Belt, Six Sigma Gree/Black Belt.  Solid knowledge of computer systems and software applications such as Excel/Visio - SAP experience is preferred.
