FierceWireless posted today about Huawei's move to the smartphone market in 2009, and their plans to make devices that work on the Symbian OS and Google's Android platform.
No surpise - although we've heard the buzz lately about Moto recruiting Android Developers (it's true!), I'm sure it will be a while before they phase out Symbian development altogether.
It just makes sense that Huawei would enter this market - they'll stand a much better chance of selling more phones!
And, this is good for those recruiters out there who are already in the process of recruiting Symbian Developers - did I mention a couple of Symbian jobs I'm currently working on? Check 'em out HERE and HERE.
