Baltimore, say hello to WiMAX

The $3.2 billion investment in Sprint-Clearwire, means that Intel, Google, Time Warner Cable Inc. and Bright House Networks Inc., are happy to see Spint-Nextel flip the WiMAX switch today in Baltimore.

For the sake of competition, I hope Sprint's grin continues once the switch is flipped. The LTE competition hopes otherwise.
