Senior Software Engineer - Graphical Tools (Rich UI)

Global telecom / wireless leader is currently searching for software engineers interested in working with SVG and implementing graphic intensive features like:

• Workflow designer
• Localization Support
• 3D Model CDATA exports
• Layout Management
• Phone Emulator

Qualifications:

• Seven or more years of software engineering experience desired

Skills/Experience:

• Ability to design and develop dynamic, feature rich user interfaces like Adobe Photoshop
• Experience in developing UI applications with Java, Java 2D
• Solid Visual C++, MFC, GDI/GDI+ STL and DLL development skills
• Experience in developing cross platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) applications
• Experience in working with Netbeans, Eclipse, Visual Studio .NET 2003 IDEs,
• Experience in manipulating XML data using standards based APIs such as DOM
• Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, attention to detail.

Desired:

• Good knowledge and experience with user interface design patterns, visual design elements, development methodologies
• Solid understanding of object oriented design/development and UML
• Knowledge in porting code from C++ to Java is desirable
• Experience in developing applications for MAC using PowerPlant, XCODE
• Experience in SVG and graphic algorithms is a huge plus
