Job Description
The Sr. Sales Engineer will work with the sales team to provide technical expertise for sales opportunities . Focused on the OSS market and selling to Mobile Operators in North America, the successful candidate will have a background in Service Assurance, Network Management or other related OSS applications within the wireless industry.

A successful Sales Engineer will combine an in-depth technical knowledge of Wireless technologies and Arantech’s solutions with customer awareness that enhances the sales effort.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering, the Sales Engineer will partner with the Sales team and Product Management team to present to key prospects in North America; provide the main point of contact for technical queries from the prospect and act independently in dealing with all technical and engineering queries and requirements.

Continually refine and deliver software sales demonstrations; demonstrate how the software will add real value to various aspects of the operators business including network operations, sales and marketing, product management and customer care teams.


Qualifications
5 years experience in technology sector focused on wireline/wireless industry in the OSS domain in a pre-sales support role or a customer facing role with proven solution and consultative selling skills. Exposure to service assurance systems for Tier 1 operators a plus. Willing to travel up to 70%

Technical Skills

Wireless network technologies
UMTS, GSM, GPRS
CDMA, 1xRTT, EVDO
Data services
Experience with OSS technologies for performance management, service management or network monitoring
Experience with SQMs, SLAs or Revenue Assurance systems
Developing business cases and solution proposals
Developing RFIs/RFPs/RFQs proposals with process working collaboratively with customers
Translating technical product features into high level messages to senior customer stakeholders and commercial teams
Database background and SQL skills
Some experience delivering OSS solutions into a operational environment
Compensation commensurate with prior experience and qualifications, a realistic base salary and highly competitive on-target earnings bonus will be offered in addition to medical/dental plan and company matching 401(k).

Boston area location or working from home within the US.
