Director, PMO - Engineering (Chicago, IL) T-Mobile

Since I'm finally back at my desk (sort of), and connecting with my team, I'm learning about some really cool job searches we've got going on around the U.S.

One of the hottest searches my team is focused on is in Chicago, where Mattea has a Director of PMO (Program Management Office) for our Engineering team. The position reports to the VP of Engineering and has responsibility for leading a team of 20.

You can get the standard job description from our career site, HERE.

But here's the skinny I got from Mattea (our Central Region Recruiter who's headin' up the search):

We're focused on candidates who have a breath/depth of experience across the various departments within Eng (RF/Network Ops/Dev), as this person will be interacting with them heavily. Translation:

Big-time experience with wireless systems (10 + years)
It’s key that they are able to demonstrate that they have managed large scale projects, and have managed teams from a senior leadership capacity. Translation:

At least 5 yrs of experience in a Sr Leadership role: leading large teams of 20+

GSM experience is key. PMI Certification a big plus.

If you want to check it out, send me an email: wirelessheadhunter@gmail.com.
