A recent survey shows 47 percent of kids age 6 through 17 say a cell phone is the electronic gadget topping their wish list this holiday season.
No suprise here. According to an industry analyst, in 2000 just 5 percent of 13- to 17-year-olds had cell phones. Today, 56 percent do.
