Comcast Corp. will be adding 150 jobs at the company's call center in the West End -- a result of strong demand for its "Triple Play" promotion and its acquisition of customers previously serviced by the now-defunct Adelphia Communications.
About 75 percent of the new positions will be customer service call center representatives, with the remainder filling other support functions.
Company spokesperson Jody Doherty declined to specify a salary range for the jobs but said that they would offer "competitive pay with rapid career advancement."
