CareerConnection: Blogging for Jobs

Lots of fun today at the CareerConnection meeting where we talked about Blogging and it's potential impact on job seekers. As usual, we were short on time and long on talk, but I want to personally thank Lisa Miller (CareerConnection's Exec Director), and all the kind participants that shared their questions and thoughts.

We're planning on following up with a Blogging 101 for Job Seekers workshop soon, so check out CareerConnection for details.

Here's a few of the terrific people I met today that are currently engaged in a job search in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (I met a lot of great people, but these are the only one's who provided a business card!).

Should you have an interest in making contact with them, send me an email and I'll put you in touch:

Gavin Poston (Supply Chain/Logistics Solutions)
Jim Curry (Financial Advisor) - Jim's happily employed, but I got his card anyway!
Jim Kline (Corporate Financial Professional)
Joshua Reynolds (Entry level CS ~ Java, C++, SQL)
Ruth Ann Mallinak (Project Management, Contract Compliance, Financial Analyst)
Christopher Robinson (Business Manager, Product Marketing, I/T, Finance)
Dale Turner (Software/Hardware - Concept proto for RF and Microwave)

Dennis Smith
