Would you trust this man in an interview?

I'm a big fan of 1980's commercials. It must have something to do with the fact that Katherine and I spent our newlywed evenings snuggling on the floor (yes, we had no furniture) watching 1980's tv on our used, 13" black & white.

Yep, this was classic stuff: Miami Vice (yikes, the clothes...the hair), MacGyver (the hair), Bosom Buddies (ever seen Tom Hanks in a dress?), Family Ties, The Cosby Show (classic), and Hill Street Blues (one of the all-time best cop shows). We had our share of stinkers (hello, Alf!), but for the most part, good stuff.

I guess it was during this time that I developed a fondness for Joe Isuzu , taken in by his smooth lies and cool composure (which has nothing to do with how I eventually landed a job in recruiting).

This is a clip of Joe at his best.

Take heed - should you ever encounter a Joe-Isuzu-like-manager in an interview, RUN...do not walk from that building.
