He didn't necessarily provide these with the "blogger" in mind, but there's not a doubt in my mind that they apply.

Here we go:

1. Write Something Every Day

2. Save your best thoughts and ideas the second they occur.

3. Write it like you would say it

4. Make sure your thoughts are simple and easy to understand

5. Edit early and edit often
